About Killarney Beerfest
We’ve got all the ingredients for a Heavenly Brews at Killarney Beer Festival May 27th 28th & 29th. Learn the Beer 101 from the best in the business with brewing demonstrations, tastings; meet the brewers, beer & food pairing classes and a whole lot more. And because craft isn’t limited to beer there will be a tantazling selection of home brewed whiskey, gin and cider to sample! If you are looking to expand your knowledge of brewing look forward to Beer master classes, interactive home brewing sessions with the Cork Homebrews or learn the ancient art of paring beer with cheese. There will be live music each day & long into the night with the following playing over the weekend: Bookabrass Band, Mongrel State, The Small Hours, One Horse Pony, Dixie Micks, The Eskies, and more! The league of extraordinary Beer drinkers in the guise of Beoir Ireland will host their awards programme with over eight categories with a Beoir Champion Beer of Ireland will be crowned at the Festival. The Awards are open to all Irish Breweries North and South and Judges will hale from independent Beer consumer lead by Reuben Gray of Beoir, CAMRA and EBCU members as well as a host of international judges including Tim Hampson chairman of the British Guild of Beer Writers and Melissa Cole named one of the Most Powerful Women in the Drinks Industry by Channel4 Food. There will be lots to sample. Entry is €10 and included 4 beer tokens! Browse the stalls, enjoy a masterclass or two and soak up the festive atmosphere and live music.
